when completely submerged in fluid,
N = m g - Fb
where Fb = buoyant force = V rho_fluid g
When in water:
25 = V rho g - 1000 V g
V rho g = 25 + 1000 V g .... (i)
When in alocohol.
25.5 = V rho g - 806 V g
V rho g = 25.5 + 806 V g ..... (ii)
hence 25 + 1000 V g = 25.5 + 806 V g
V = 2.63 x 10^-4 m^3 ..........Ans(A)
(B) putting in (i),
V rho g = 25 + 1000 V g
(2.63 x 10^-4) rho (9.8) = 25 + (1000 x 2.63 x 10^-4)(9.8)
rho = 10700 kg / m^3
