1) always think, final - initial. so we have a final velocity of -52 and initial of 59. so take -52*.059 to get final magnitude, and then subtract final magnitude of (59*.057kg) =answer should be around -2 or -3 y and z will be zero because they are 0 in the final and initial velocities 2) the magnitude of the change in momentum of the ball will be the absolute value of the x value in question 1. 3) now take the magnitude of the final, AKA 68, and multiply by .057, then subtract (59*.057)
