The angle is centered across the width of the plate. Calculate Ane for the angle and for the plate. Note that Ane of the angle corresponds to a potential fracture along line 1-1, and of the plate to a potential fracture along line 2-2 Ensure that your solution includes a plan view (such as that given below) and a cross sectional view. U= 1-X/L= 1-27.2/200=0.864

U=Bfxtf /Ag =102*16/3790 =0.43
