Data analysis and interpretation can be broadly biased in several ways, the most common among them being the following:

Selection Bias - Selection bias occurs when there is an ambiguity during data collection process. The data collection can be skewed with respect to certain data and it can lead to falty results at the end.

Confirmity Bias - These kinds of bias occurs when the person conducting the analysis would want to match his or her opinions and preconceived notions with the results of the data analysis. Such kind of bias leads to error in the results of data analysis.

Outlier - Data can always be skewed in a particular direction and therefore, these outliers may cause the results to be skewed in turn. It can be prevented with the help of proper data cleansing.
