An organizational assessment is an important process for acquiring concise information related to the business performance and the factors which affect the productivity of the organization.
The organization taken into account in this case is a health care organization and the main offerings are health care services.this includes important offerings like skilled nursing, assisted living and subacute.
The mission and vision statement are related to fulfilling the core competencies of the organization, fulfilling mission and the relationship with the workforce. The key workforce groups in this case are nursing, dietary, housekeeping, administration etc.
The major equipment and technologies include transfer equipment, alarm devices, wifi, computers and important health care updated technology. Assessment is necessary for setting initiative which is successful. The areas of assessment include grants infrastructure, research staff expertise and research facilities and equipment. It is necessary for reviewing the resources.
The stakeholders in the organization include the patients, employees, doctors and the staff. The focused risk vulnerability analysis includes predicting the risks associated and the way hospital responds to it. The disease probability occurrence is medium risk level. The risk analysis is the preparedness for the risk. Another one is failure for preparedness which might occur with the institution and it is important to make sure that the organization remains focused. The analysis showed that the hospital was not prepared for the disease of meningitis and there was lack of hospital planning activities. There was also vulnerability related to disaster planning and it is necessary that the hospitals pay attention to the methods and assess the events effectively
