Explanation / Answer

1) The report is about assessments of impacts of the factors which are causing climatec change and how to manage and mitigate these factors. The report is concerened with the options and opportunities available to curb the factors responsible for climate change.

2) In the past few decades there has been tremendous change in climate which has impacted humans natural systems such as melting of glacier ice affecting the runoff in downstreams thus altering the hydrological system. Apart from this several species have become extint due to climate change. It has been measured that there has been hike in the heat related mortality. The climate change is adversely effecting the people who are socially, economically, culturally, politically, institutionally marginalized.

3) Yes, knowing the fact that permafrost is melting and causing variation in the runoff pattern doe surprise me.

4) The government of North America has become more scruplus towards the climate change creting several programs at municipal level , also proactive measures have been taken in the field of infrastructure and energy.

Some parts of Asis have adopted agroforestry, mangrove restoration and plantation & integrated water resources managemen towards change in climate.

Several diverge approaches has been taken by the Australian government for planing the against for the sea level rise & reduced water availability.
