Do you think non biased content is raised, and do you believe eventhough politicians are available social media the humane side is shown through an informal setting? State if you agree or disagree with the summary and why in 200 words?

E-governance- The governments use of technology and internet.

Transparency- government involvement and citizen participation through trust.

Citizen participation- Citizens actively being involved with the government and its policies

Local Government- Geographically centralized administration.

Public servants- Individuals who work for any level of the government or nonprofit organization.

I chose these terms because they are all significant to each other E-governance is the governments use of technology and internet which is at an all-time high due to obvious technological advances. The E-governance promotes transparency which increases citizen participation. Local governments may use E-governance as a tool to increase their following. Due to the increase in social media usage the accessibility to politics is easier than it has ever been. I would say this is a good thing due to the high participation rates.

I believe handling personnel from a humanistic angle compared to a productivity angle is highly important. As a public administrator it is surely important to understand how productivity can increase if the people that are being managed feel a sense of motivation. Stillman stated, “These studies often recommended a restructuring of the formal or procedural aspects of the institution to achieve greater or improved efficiency” (p.319). The companies (in this case public agencies) who restructure have greater success. He went on to prove that public service motivation is important to any public organization because it promotes a healthy culture.

Serving in the public interest can be identified as anything that empowers the citizens of a democratic state. Example, government office, postal work, police officer, etc..

Explanation / Answer

I would like to agree with the view and perspective that the use of internet and virtual or online methods are quite effective in this setup and this is the future as well. The technological advancement has made it clear that this form of the governance is the future and will continue as well because as it is convenient, it will ensure that it is preferred by most of the population.

A humanistic way or approach as discussed will be a better option over the productive angle because this will ensure that the individuals are motivated to quite some extent in order to be successful.in their approach. There is no doubt that productivity and performance has to be better and improved based on the motivation factor. It can also be stated that organizations who adopt and go through a change are better and sustain more because the success depends on how an organization manages and maintans change which will help have a healthy culture and succeed.
