I don't have an enzyme report on my comp. anymore, and yourquestion is a bit vague. i'll see if i can provide anythinguseful. Well, for starters, you can analyze the correlation betweensubstrate and enzyme. You should see a rise and then a plataeu ibelieve, since in the beginning, the more things you have to react,the more that will react. however, this will level out since thearea will be cluttered by formed products. The enzymes operate on alock and key model; if there is no room for the lock and the key toenter or if it is difficult and cumbersome for the reactants tofind the proper shape, the rate will not increase and maypotentially decrease. Another thing you could talk about is how different temperaturesaffect enzyme activity; too hot temperatures will denature enzymessince the protein bonds will break and the enzyme depends on thisinteraction in order to function. Too cold temperatures do notprovide enough heat for molecules to hit each other with successfulenergy to form a reaction. Not enough energy will be available toovercome the activation barrier, decreasing the rate. Another thing to look at is how pH affects enzyme activity. Certainenzymes activate and react best under certain pH values. Stomachenzymes need very low values while other areas do not. There shouldbe a bell curve here, with the optimal pH at the peak. too high andtoo low ph's interfere with the interactions and bonding of theprotien. I hope this helps!
