Federal govenment grant- transfer of anything of value from the federal government to a non-federal entitiy to carry out the public purpose. The public purpose refers to the government authorized by law.

Public-private partnernship (PPP) - the partnership between a governmental agency and the private sector entity for delivering goodes or services to the public.

Local government- governmennt for public administration of specific areas such as towns, cities, counties and districts, mostly consist of county and municipal government structures. It is the lowest strata of government structure.

Public Servant- the person who is appointed or elected to a public office for working for government. These individual work at all levels of government

E-governance- is basically associated with carrying out the functions and achieving the results of governance through the utilization of ICT (Information and Communications Technology).

Citizen participation-is a process which provides private individuals an opportunity to influence public decisions and has long been a component of the democratic decision-making process.

Tranperancy- citizen access to information and facilitationg their understanding of decision-making processes

Performance measurement- is the process of collecting, analyzing and/or reporting information regarding the performance of an individual, group, organization, system or component.

(d) The phenomenon which define the future of public administration like the techniques like e governance which use technological advancement for making P.A. effective.

Serving in public interest means the activity that supports, benefits, makes acquaint and enhances the quality of outcome for the common good of general public.
