E commerce business model can be considered one of the fastest growing sector in retailing. Most of the companies right now suing hybid model ( combination of brick and mortar and e-commerce) for serving their customers. Some of the risk factors associated with e-commerce model are

IT security risk and vulnerability on exposure of data is a major threat in this business model. Thus system administrator has major role in creating unique keys and safeguaring data without any sort of insecurities. Controlling the access and providing unique access windows for users and staffs for accessing information is the major responsbility and properly monitoring the transaction and do frequent audit to ensure everything has been rightly placed.

Developer: Developing a website which has all the major features to attract customers, customising options, anakytics over search results, categorisation of products, offers tag and eye catchy advertisement etc. Developer needs to understand both functional and technical requirement and to keep on developing and modifying the website accordingly.

Security engineer: - To keep track on the online issues and address it with in stipulated time frame . Understand the customer concerns, suplier concerns and properly ensure the technical balance without any failures.

Quality assurance:- Understand the functional requirement and collect feedback from customers and suppliers and workupon the gaps identified and communicate and co ordinate with multiple teams such as website developers, warehouse and distribution team etc.
