Explanation / Answer

The concept of characterization is representation of a person that may include direct method like attribution of qualities of description or commentary and indirect methods inviting readers to infer qualities from character's actions, dialogues or apperence. In this case study, it refers to the program of policy implementation and Evaluation.

The concept behind the theory is to understand and analyse the "improvement" in a child's academic performance with a change in the approach by the teaching methodology adopted by the teaching staff, with a motive to earn an incentive for the extra effort.

This strategy improves the parent - child - teacher relation, thus improving the performance of the child. Its also is a moral booster and a source of greater earning opportunity for the teachers. The focus of teachers is now on improving the performance of the child.

What is the Program Trying to Achieve”

The author has clearly defined the end result the program is intended to attain. Through the implementation of this model of teaching, the author is suggesting to improve the performance of a child and also improve the earning opportunities of the teachers. The concept, the author has proposed is that of focus of the teacher on individual child by home visits, meeting with the parents and involving them to understand and improve the performance of their child.

This theory may lead to increased student achievement in the classroom.

The theory suggests that there will be an improvement in the performance of the child in the classroom. The reasons for the improvement are as :

4. Program Theory and Implementation Theory.

The program theory has clearly laid down the concept of improving the performance of the child. But, there is a difference as far as the implementation of the program theory is concerned.

The teachers at first needs to accept and understand the importance and the process of this new concept. The first hindrance in the implementation would be the acceptance of the concept by teachers.

There should be cooperation from parents as well. All parents may not be the same and may not accept the idea of cooperating with the teachers in improving the performance of their child.

5. I agree with the theory of "teachers visiting the students home". This will definately help the child impove the performace of the child. The involvement of parents would also help in the development of the child. But this theory will have to deployed with advanced level of training to the teachers as well as the parents to understand the concept and how will it work for the benefit of the child.

The new higher pay incentive to teaches will definately bring in more Variety of innovative pedegogy of teaching. This will improve the learning process of the child as well the teachers - child relation.
