1). inital momentum= mv

556*8.6=4781.6 Kgm/s


2). conserving momentum we get


4781.6=(556+m')*5.2

so m'=363.54 Kg

= 1/2*(556+363.54)*5.2^2 -1/2*556*8.6^2

= -8128.72 J


4). conserving momentum we get

556*8.6-363.54*6.8=((556+363.54)*v
