The use of good hardware, software, and the operating system is really important is an IT company. Because almost 70% company time is working on this hardware and software. so they should better be good for the better productivity and higher efficiency of the company.

So to be able to run the high intensive software and do video and graphics editing the company needs a great hardware because if you take a slow hardware the developer won’t be that productive and there are high chances of system crash due to having software and it can lead to company loss of time and work.

So to be able to compliment a good hardware there should be high-end software which is fast, easy to use and have a highly secured platform. So to be able to have a good and high-end software which is reliable and can be worked upon without worrying. so for that company need to have a software that does not crash and which is highly productive.

Operating system plays a vital role because this is the platform on which all the software and tools of the company is gonna run. so choosing an operating system is a very critical and important task and operating system will vary from the work the company is doing, so for that, if the compatible software works on windows then the company should have windows and if the software runs on mac they should have a mac and so on.

Yes, using a open-source technology and open-source program can save few dollars of the company. But there is always the risk of using open-source technology because it is open to all the people in the world and it can be attacked easily as compare to the closed source technology which is regularly updated and taken care by the company who makes the software. This is the same case with using Linux opening system as there are no regular security updates. Due to which anyone can attack the company system and can lead to the leak of confidential document leak in public.

So, according to for an organization where their main priority is to keep safe there data and system they should use most high-end tech which is secure and easy to use for better productivity.
