Amazon sells all kind of services in the form of digital downloads, everyday products and even premium services like amazon prime which has services like prime video and delivery options included. Amazon also has an AI service called ALEXA which works with a device called Amazon Echo and helps with day to day tasks like shopping lists, home management, security and virtual assistant. Amazon provides competitive prices, free to minimal shipping costs, digital downloads and has a large inventory of items we can purchase when compared to other shopping websites.
Products on amazon range from household items to pet supplies, furniture, electronic devices, digital downloads of E-Books, Musical instruments and services like streaming videos, movies and music. They have an exhaustive amount of inventory and services which they provide and provide customer support with it.
Priceline.com follows an affiliate business model where they provide customers with services and often offer a discount on said services and take a commission from the businesses they represent.
Ebay.com follows a brokerage business model where they connect the buyer with the sellers online and help the seller sell their services for a commission and also follows an advertising model where they promote some products they have for a farther reach and earn money from the advertising.
Advantages of such services is to the people that get products on discounted prices and can connect with sellers that was previously not possible for them.
Blueniledotcom was the site that stood out amongst the three sites. It had elegant presentation, large inventory and even made custom ring designs. On the other hand jewelryexchangedotcom allowed us to search by design which is better for some people.
Both the websites were similar in appeal and inventory but different in their presentation and search sort algorithms and design.
Peerflix.com follows brokerage business models where it imports its inventory from other countries like china and then help facilitate the import procedures and costs in the most effective way possible for the customers.
Prosper.com follows affiliate business model where it facilitates the people in getting loans on easier terms and easy to understand interest model.
