1) Using the data given in the question, Monday is the busiest day of the week, when the numer of customers showing up at the salon is the highest every week.
2) Saturday is the slowest day, when the number of customers showing up at the salon is the lowest week after week.
3) The cycle time of the process is 20 minutes as already determined. Therefore, the process capacity is 3 customers per hour. considering an 8 hour day, the process capacity is 24 customers per day. The highest demand so far on monday has been 116, which means the target cycle time is a little over 4 minutes. So activity 1,2 and 3 require 3 persons, activity 4 requires 5 persons and activity 5 requires 2 persons on Monday each in order to achieve the target cycle time. Alternatively, so of the processes can be combined together, for example, activity 2 and 3 can be combined together, in which case the combined activity will require only 5 persons (1 person less) than if the activities were performed by different individual, in which case these activities 3 persons each (total 6 persons)
