While developing marketing promotion strategy for our organic product I need to consider all the six elements of marketing communication mix. The first element is advertising. Advertising will be an excellent choice to attract the customer who is concerned about healthy food habits and we can ensure messages reach the customers effectively using advertisements. But we need to allocate more funds towards advertising to advertise in media including television, newspaper and websites. The next element is personal selling. Personal selling involves the personal presentation of our organic products using the company sales force. Sales people persuade customers to buy the product. Third element is sales promotion through discounts and I need to advertise on media with the discounts offered on our organic products so that they will be informed on the offers going on. Discounted sales will help in attracting new customers for our product. Public relations is the fourth element where the media features story about the benefits of using organic products and it will become beneficial for our product as many customers decide on using healthy organic products. The fifth element is direct marketing which is done through interactive communication with customers through methods like email. The sixth element is event sponsorship by promoting our products by making our presence in events like sports or community events.

For my product line I think advertising, discounts and public relations would be appropriate for our promotion strategy. Advertising in newspapers, television and websites would help to convey our messages and make customers informed about our company and product. When advertising is integrated with sales promotion through discounts it will capture more customer attention. Most of the people would like to buy healthy organic products but many are not buying due to the high price of organic products compared to other products. When discounts are given and it is advertised through media, more people would be ready to buy our product. I would use public relation because many people in our society are not aware of the benefits of using organic products and the health issues associated with nonorganic products. The promotion through public relations will boost our promotional efforts as more people become aware of organic products.

When customers see our advertisement after understanding the benefits through public relations they get more interested in buying the product. When advertisement is again integrated with sales promotion more customers prefer organic products and it would provide seem less opportunities for us.
