The biggest issue seems to be when experts in a field pretend to be experts in another field so as to make predictions. Kurzweil is a known, verified and obvious visionary who has proven himself numerous times as an accurate predictor of technological trends. However, this says nothing about his understanding of biology, genetics, evolution or the processes that drive the human body.
