One of the most difficult skills to master for new supervisors is effective delegation. Discuss a time when a supervisor or other person in authority delegated a responsibility to you. Delegation is much more than just telling someone what to do. It’s quite a complex process and a lot of managers,supervisors don’t understand how to delegate well. I am a quality engineer in the company and there was a time when my supervisor delegated the responisblities related to the Tech support department: As i am knowledgeable about tech, i was really spending time fixing a Windows crash on an employee's computer, refilling printer cartridges, or dealing with a Wi-Fi issue in your office? Most businesses have a need for IT support services, if only on an irregular basis, so having a reliable tech support service available when needed is important. A good tech service company can also provide advice on new technologies that can helped our business grow and/or saved our time and money. There are certain difficulties in the begning like Shortage of time,Conflicts,Task done improperly and ineffectively. But after certain time and by taking the responsiblities seriously we can cope with these few problems by taking certain measures such as-
I started to believe that it is appropriate for a supervisor to delegate when our Organization is making huge profits, satisfaction level increased in both the employees and the supervisors, Salary hikes and promotions. Therefore it is very important for any manager and supervisor to delegate its reponsiblity effetively and to the right person at right time.
