Explanation / Answer

10.The formula for mean systolic blood pressure is 2/3diastolic pressure +1/3systolic pressure.

The blood pressure tends to drop in standing position compared to the sitting, supine and supine position with crossed leg. Both the systolic and diastolic pressure was found to be highest in supine position compared to others.

11.Sofia has orthostatic hypotension. It is a form of blood pressure when standing up from sitting or lying down.So that is the reason blood pressure returned to normal when Sophia returns to the reclining position.

The mechanism involves the activation of sympathetic adrenergic neurons, plasma concentration of nonrepinephrine increase and these effects can be abolished by trimetaphan,an autonomic ganglionic blocking agent.

12.For mild orthostatic hypotension the simple treatment is to sit or like down immediately after feeling lightheaded.Midodrine ,a vasopressor is safe for treating neurogenic hypotension.Drinking plenty of water may be a natural remedy.
