In the field of healthcare the outcome of the patient was determined through effective interdisciplinary teamwork. Effective team members can buildup an effective healthcare team. The proper and good teamwork skills are the main characteristics of a successful team. A proper planning, effective communication, effective leadership and evaluation are necessary for an effective team. A successful teamwork experience is easily distinguishable with high success rate and active participation of each members of the team. It has an orderly preparation phase, proper implementation and correct evaluation. There are many problems in the healthcare field which require effective teamwork for its improvement. For example, treatment of some communicable diseases such as tuberculosis, and nutritional problems like vitamin deficiencies require effective team work of healthcare professionals. In the healthcare team proper coordination among the members is important to achieve the goal and to provide better healthcare service.
