Explanation / Answer

a) According to the author, music is a succession of sound that is rhythmic, and sound is nothing but vibration carried out in the medium of air. According to me, music is a series of notes that are thoughtfully composed together to construct a symphony.

b) Surround systems primary function is to give the illusion of being engulfed by sound, it has the predominant aim of encompassing an individual with sound by the aid of the speakers hat are places infront and behind in a given Room. It functions by splitting the audio signal and projecting the different sound information through various speakers. hence, achieving the aforementioned affect.

c) It doesn't necessarily make a difference on where you are seated, although one can reap the maximum pleasure out this system by being at the apex.

d) A subwoofer can be placed anywhere as it depends on the subjective reception and perception of an individual and the kind of genre or audio they are listening to wherein they would hone best the benefits of a sub woofer.

e) Just like we watch a 3 d movie such is the concept of binaural sound as well. It is the creation of effect of a 3d sound system, wherein an individual gets the sense that they are with the band in the given room and experiencing a live performance. The atomic heart of pink floyd is quite famous for having used this kind of an effect to encapsulate heir listeners.

f) Bone conduction works on the principle of sending sound waves of a given audio to the bone of the skull through the ear canal in order to channel the affect of 'hearing.' This is a concept that has particularly been used for people suffering from hearing impairment.

g) Cochlear implant is a device that had been created and is surgically implanted within the ears of an individual who is partially deaf, so that they can be able to hear better. The socio cultural context was affected adversely by the introduction of he cochlear implant, as the deaf community found it outrageous to be squandered by the standards of a normal human body and by normal standard humans, as they viewed he own sign language with great respect. This led to the advent of the concept of audism, which is of the notion that the hearing majority of the population is the higher authority, and the antithesis for the inept counterparts.
