This is an LCM finding problem.

Because I and my brother are having night off after different number of days.

so LCM of these 2 numbers will tell about the no. of days after which my night off will coincide with night off of my brother.

LCM (4,6) = 12

so on every 12th day, night off will coincide.

since 1st jan was recent coincide of night off, so next would be 1 + 12 = 13th jan
