Explanation : From the diagram, it can be clearly seen that the river is meandering. A meander forms during the mature stage of a river. When a river leaves the mountains suddenly and encounter a sudden break in slope, it slows down. The volume of water is high but the gradient is low thus water cannot move at a faster rate and meanders develop. The frontal erosion is almost equivalent to lateral erosion.
