My patient had no trouble with this part. He got everything right without a problem. So, I determined that he can listen and repeat exactly what he hear. So, he’s not hearing impaired and his short-term memory is working.
MMSE 3 stage command
MMSE 3 stage command is a test that determines a patient ability to execute simple commands.
My patient had no difficulty do and following simple commands, which means he is not cognitively impaired.
MMSE reading
MMSE reading is a test to determine if a patient can read what they see, and they don’t have any brain damage or impairments.
I wrote a word on a piece of paper and held it up. My patient looked at it and read what it said without a problem which means my patient doesn’t have brain damage or any impairments of the brain.

MMSE writing is a test to determine if a patient can write what they see, and they don’t have any brain damage or impairments.
