Built the RC circuit (I cant upload but basically switch at the top on the left side there is a capacitor with 31 microfarads (this is it all added together, actually two capacitors are in series 60 uf each and across there is a capactitor 1 uf. So I added the two 60s together, then they were in parralel with 1) and on the right side there is a resistor with 20 ohms of resistance.
it has a time constant T of .8 ms however you decide that you now need a circuit with a time constant of 4 ms. Adjust the time constant of the circuit below by slopping a dielectric between plates. what material would be best?


a. teflon k=2
b. paper=3
c. pyrex glass=4.8
d-ethanol 24
e water 80
strontium-300

let the dielectric constance be k.so,

C=kCo

so, t=RC

or 0.8*k=4

or k=5

so pyrex glass is most appropriate
