Explanation / Answer

1. The most significant change in families since the 1960s have been more ready acceptance of inter-race marriage, widow remarriage, etc. This has been brought about by both education and external factors - rising oil prices made it tougher to make the ends meet, women had to work out of homes, and men were willing to accept women who were past the first marriage. 2. This has made families different, not weaker. Thus we have today stepchildren, half-brother, etc. 3. To strengthen the families, I believe that drugs and alcohol should be controlled and education made more widespread.
