My attempt: I found the momentum of each car by using the formula m*v. Momentum of car = Mc=8300. Momentum of truck = Mt=14157. Using vector addition after the collision, shouldnt my answer be squareroot(Mc^2+Mt^2)? My answer came to 16410.69, which is Ptotal. Shouldnt the momentum be conserved here? So, Pinitial should eqaual Ptotal. My answer is not being accepted, what am I doing wrong?
