a).Req=3.1+9.8+9=21.9 ohms

b).i=V/R=36/21.9=1.644 A in each resistor

c).if resistors connected in parallel then

Req=(3.1-1+9.8-1+9-1)-1=1.87 ohms

d).when connected in parallel

total current=36/1.87=19.25 A

current in 3.1 ohm=(1.87/3.1)*19.25=11.61 A

e).current in 9 ohm=(1.87/9)*19.25=3.99 A
