why is the force on section BD (or FBD) multiplied by 2in the first step of the solution? that is, when it says totake the moment of C, it gives the equation -20(.25+.4) + 2FBD(.4)=0 It also says2FBD in the diagram on cramster, and yet in my bookit just says point B and point D.I realized the answer after I posted the question, anddid not know how to get rid of the post so simply responded withthe answer so no one else had to bother. I realized this after I posted the question, and did not know how to get rid of the post so simply responded with the answer so no one else had to bother.
