a) gears with higher tooth produce higher torque. Therefore the 22 tooth gear should be attached to the motor.

b) gears with higher tooth produce higher torque. Therefore the 44 tooth gear to the lever arm for maximum torque output.

c) Gear ratio   = 44 / 22   = 2

     Speed of lever arm =   100 / 2   = 50 rpm
