As we experience in last 10 years there is high frequency of road accident occured. the road accident bear a high economic and social cost. which are not measureable. its includes medicle cost, legal cost, damages of vehicle or any property.
2. State the Objectives of the research study.
Roads accident mostly occured due to the Gemoetric design.
Geometric design such as horizontal alignment , Vertical laignment. The effects of design elements such as horizontal curves, vertical curves, lane width, curve radius, sight distance.
3. Write the significance of the research study.
The research study of Geometric design on road accident will help to recognise the exact problem of road aciddent. Research study can recognise which elements of geometric deisgn which are affect on road accident.
4. Write out clearly the scope of the research study.

b- Understanding of the causes of accident.
