1. Cone snails have cone shaped shells that helps them to dig and burrow deep into the sand.The shell acts like a camouflage and also it helps to preserve the water balance in the snail.

Snails are adapted to breathe in both water and on land through gills and lungs.So they can lay their eggs far from egg eating fish.

Snails go into hibernation and estivation during extreme weather conditions.

Some snails are adapted to self-fertilize .
