= 16.4 m

(B) r = sqrt(x^2 + y^2)

and theta = tan^-1(y/x)

for (2, - 5)

r = sqrt(2^2 + (-5)^2) = 5.4 m

theta = 360 - tan^-1(5/2) = 292 deg


Ans: 5.4 m , 292 deg

for (-8 , 8)

r = 11.3 m

theta = 180 - tan^-1(8/8) = 135 deg
