Time markers in Hughes "Salvation" are when Langston said that he was saved from sin when he was thirteen year old, and the second timemarker are when he describe that it was getting hot and late during the time he was in church, which shows that time spent of long period.

Angelous "Grandmother's Victory" time markers are: I was taught at the young stage which signifies the time and age.And the second one would be when she said " I still stand this by today".
