Question
Okay, once again i am asking a question regarding a project. In this case i am doing analogy's that are related to medieval times. Here are the one's done so far ;Lysosomes - maids.
Knights - cell wall.
Cooks - ribosomes
King/Queen - nucleus
Nobleman's secretary - nucleolus
plasma membrane - moat around castle
golgi apparatus - mail room inside castle
Mitochondria - farmers
Cytoskeleton - Castle
& i'm confused on what to make the Chloroplast, Chromatin, Vacuoles, or Cytoplasm.
I've already written essays on each of the items from the list above, so i cannot change what is already done. please let me know any ideas, thank you(:
Explanation / Answer
the vacuoles could be the royal water fountain or royal well if there is such a thing (medieval people need water right?) the chloroplasts are the taxes people pay. the money "fuels" the economy/ system? (mercantilism) cytoplasm= the people who live in the town. they are a big part of the medieval system. although none of the people are singe-ly important, we need them there to hold things together. no people, no society chromatin should relate to the chromosome, which I'm surprised that it isn't one of the organelles you are using. if you were the chromosome would be some written record of the town's history/ a book listing people and their jobs
