Explanation / Answer

as given in the previous expression

the rate of reaction doubles if we double the concentration of B and keeps concentration of A constant

the rate of reaction quardouples if we double the concentration of A and keeps conc of B constant

so rate law expression is Rate = k [A]2 [B]

on putting values of rate and [A] and [B]

we will obtain

3.2 X 10^-2 = K [0.3]^2 [0.15]

so k = 0.237

so rate of reaction if [A] and [B] are 0.2 and 0.5 respectivley

Rate = 2.37 X [0.2]^2 [0.5] = 0.047 = 4.7X 10^-2
