the silicate rock weathering is mainly done by the carbonic acid which is formed by the reaction of atmospheric carbon with the rain water. so for the weathering to occur at greater rates, more cabon dioxide has to be removed from atmosphere. since co2 is a green house gas, the decreased amount of co2 in atmosphere will leads to glbal cooling
