Ectopic prgnancy: It is the condition where the fertilised ovum in the fallopian tube donot move during the course of time to the region of lining of the uterine wall ( womb) known as endometrium where the implantation of ovun occur and embryo mature. The ovum usually remain in the fallopian tube after fertilisation since fimbriae donot function to catch ovum and fertilise outside system.

Isthmus: It is the narrow region of fallopian tube
Ampulla: It is the widest region of fallopian tube where fertilisation of egg and sperm occrs.
