Question

You recently got hired as a Network Coordinator. You have been assigned to work under the Network Administrator of a network which has 5 Windows Servers 2012 EE, 200 Windows 7 workstations, and 25 laptops having Windows 7. The laptop users have to access the Servers both from work and from remote locations while they are traveling for the company. You also have been given the opportunity to log onto the server from your home and work one out of the five days from home. Your supervisor wants you to make sure that the servers are secure. He urges you to keep servers locked away and use a workstation to manage severs even while you work from the business location and from a remote location. What tools will you need to deploy in the workstation to make this happen? What are the pros and cons of using this strategy? What will be the commands you could use from your workstation to make this possible? What additional measures will you take, in case some of the laptop users also need to log onto the servers both from the business location and remotely?

Explanation / Answer
