SUMMARY: Ventiv Technology is seeking an IT Support Technician in support of it’s global user base (300+ employees) that delivers a number of externally facing solutions within the Risk Management industry. Ventiv Technology operates from 8 established offices globally in addition to a sizable virtual employee base. The successful candidate must have knowledge & experience supporting technical & non-technical end-users in an IT support capacity in addition to soft skills such as clear verbal/written communication and time management.

The IT Support Technician is expected to operate with a high level of autonomy & self-direction. The operating environment is very fast-paced and will require strong prioritization & time management skills. Due to the global nature of our offerings, the position will may require participation in an on-call rotation in addition to scheduled after-hours maintenance activities. Some travel may be required including travel to destinations requiring a valid passport.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working Tickets/Service Requests from a centralized ticketing system

Installing, configuring, patching & maintaining end-user desktops & laptops

Deploying & reclaiming physical & software-based telephones

Managing Antivirus deployment & updates through a centralized console

Managing software deployment through a centralized console

Installing, configuring, managing printers & print servers in an office environment

Managing access to file shares

Creating, managing & de-provisioning user accounts

Maintaining inventory of physical and virtual assets (e.g. software)

Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Creating & documenting new policies and procedures as required

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years Experience managing 100+ Laptops & Desktops in an office environment

Experience managing Microsoft Windows (v7 & 8+) in a corporate environment

Experience managing Apple OS X in a Microsoft AD Environment

McAfee Antivirus Enterprise

McAfee DLP

Microsoft Active Directory

Microsoft SCCM

Checkpoint endpoint Encryption

Working knowledge of shared printers & files
