PB= XBKB

PB= PBr2= 0.02*(122.36)=2.4472 torr=2.44 torr

Solvent (CCl4):-

PA= XAPA*

XA=1-XB=1-0.02=0.98

Therefore PA=PCCl4=0.98*(33.85)=33.173 torr=33.17torr

and PTotal=PA+PB=2.4472+33.173=35.6202 torr=35.62 torr

Hence, YBr2=PB/PTotal=2.4472/35.6202
