Water is the one of the most needed and important of part of all living beings. It shoul be very clean to drink. because water can carry various infective agents like bacteria's, amoeba etc as well as soluble toxic material which affect to us very badly and cause various diseases. The water we get from the municipality is not enough clean in some cases because it depend on the sources where the municipality get the water. If they use river water, some where sewage water may also supplied after the purification. Water pollution is just created by the water we wasted in various activities and municipality use this water for purification. the purification techniques initiate with removing the microparticle then it treated with UV rays with other agents to remove microorganism, then sedimenation, filtration these techniques depend on the how uch water is polluted.
