Explanation / Answer
1. I will work with a diversified team rather than a homogenous team. Diversified team means team members of different age and different regions. Reason for having diversified team is that different people have different thought process and hence team can come up with different and unique ideas to a particular problem.
However their are some situations where such team find it difficult to allign and work together. In such situations, manager needs to work towards bringing teams together and making efforts for the betterment of the team.
2. I would give an example of my team at work place. The structure we have is a manager at the top, a deputy manager assistant manager and a financial analyst.
We all work as a team and not a group. Each member has a role to perform and manager is takecare of the whole team. Though the responsibilities are different, we still work with each other, helping when one person stucks and every person possess a special skills, like one is good in accounting, one is good in excel skills etc. So we all work together putting effort
3. If my team is showing intragroup conflict, then will have a one on ne meetings with the team members and with people showing conflict. I will try to understand the reasoning and will make them understand that individual performance is important but team effort is what that matters as no one person can win alone.
