Guidelines for HRIS for the selection and assessment of potential employees
Applicant Tracking system can be the most effective tool for the selection and assessment of potential employees through internet. It is an effective tool for the recruiters and selectors as it helps in scanning the resumes and finding matches.But it is not acceptable by the job seekers as it hurt their chances of getting selected because the resumes are not scanned on an individual basis.
The Tracking system should be used for screening the resumes whether it meets the selection criteria but the final selection should be done only on the basis of Skype interview taken by the senior manager.
