4. Each week the different plants would show different ratesof growth. The mineral water plant would be able to grow best andfast. The distilled water plant wouldnt be as good as the mineralwater plant . The tap water plant would show the the slowest growth. The difference in stem elongation would be present. The time of emergence of the leaves would differ in all thethree. The time of emergence of the buds and flowers woulddiffer too. 5. The ones you have mentioned are good enough. Others are effect of wind. For this you must have two sets of each plant---two sets ofmineral water plants, 2 sets of tap water plants and 2 sets ofdistilled water plants. Take one plant from each set and keep them in a windyarea. The effect of a strong breeze of about 10min can be seen onthe growth of the plant. Secondly, you can roughly disturb one of the plants and seethe effect of the disturbance. I think that the length of the plant would be a goodmeasurement. The sprouting of new leaves is also one more thing we canmeasure. As leaves are continously being formed, we can keep anaccount of how many days a leaf takes to fully mature.
