Explanation / Answer

The improvement which is needed to be done, cannot be overlooked. Project manager may not be interested to do the improvements by himself so it is better to take the initiative by myself. Though I have much work to complete before deadline, but still atleast I can re-schedule the duties and work very hard to maintain both. So, what I have decided to do is that,

(1) (E) You're keen to complete the improvements. You take ownership of making and re-organize your work so that you can do so.

(2) (D) You ask other team members to support you with making the outstanding improvements. You're confident that these and your other priorities will be delivered.

(3) (C) You notify your project manager about the improvements. You use your initiate to assign time on his calender to make the improvements when he's less busy.

(4) (B) You're determined to make the improvements, You schedule to work on them once you have delivered your other priorities.

(5) (A) You prioritize your initial deadlines as the improvements are outside of your current scope of work. You're confident that your manager will have a strategy for the improvements.

(1) The project manager is not interested to do the work by himself. As I know what are the improvements are needed to be done, so I have decided to take the responsibility. For this, I have re-scheduled my own works so that simultaneously I can complete them also.

(2) As there are several improvements are needed to be done so it is will be easy for me to do the work if I can get any help from my team members. They can support me in this when they have less work or have free time. This way improvements in the spreadsheets can complete in a short duration.

(3) As now I am only responsible for the improvement so I took initiative to notify the project manager about the improvements I am doing. If he's busy then it is better to notify him when he have free time.

(4) Why I have prioritze the project improvements over my own works is because those were needed to improve. As no one was taking responsibility so I took the ownership of them. Besides, I have that much confident to work for my own deadlines simultaneously.

(5) It will be meaningless if I believe that the manager will complete the work with some strategic plan, as he himself in not bothered to do the work.

Hope it hepls :)
