Due to a variety of manufacturers for luxury vehicles the buyers have a lot of brands for them to choose from depending on the customer’s mood, taste and disposable income hence the bargaining power for buyers is high. Nowadays because of free access to internet customers have the luxury to compare the brands before they would eventually purchase the vehicles. On the other hand, climate plays a huge role when it comes to purchasing, for instance during winter many companies are likely to work less reducing their disposable income making it hard for most people to afford luxury products (Leruste, 2013). Manufacturers they are forced to keep on evolving to match what is required by the customers and for Mercedes Benz they are always coming up with a lot of new models with exceptional functions to allure customers.

In conclusion manufacturing luxury cars, they can be good when it comes to bargaining power of suppliers and new entrants because they are the ones who are in control but it is difficult to really expand and have potential customers because of the scarcity of elevation when it comes to disposable income. Moreover, as technology evolves all the companies evolve both luxury brands and cheaper brands because of these the low brand cars have low chances to be at the same level as the luxury cars so it is an added advantage for luxury vehicles. However, on the other hand it is clear according to statistics that the percentage of wealthy people is lesser than the percentage of middle to lower class people indicates that more people are likely to purchase either second hand luxury vehicles or other lower brand vehicles. The richer are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer (Snyder, 2010).
