How would you reply to this?

You suggested that all leadership characteristics are important but the one you highlighted the most is "cognitive ability" or social intelligence. This is a trait of the 21st century's leadership that is being promoted rigorously in today's organizations. With that said, while this trait is very beneficial for a good connection between the leaders and followers, how do you believe leaders could establish a boundary where he or she does not become a social media kind of leader where EVERY problem, be it professional or personal, gets attention and thus pulling the leader into the realm of only focusing on resolving social problems vs. completing tasks. What strategies could you think of that would help a leader to quickly discern the issues worth the effort investing into without losing the focus of completing the tasks and reaching the goals?

Leaders need to create a colloborative environment which helps in creating a good rapport with the followers. In the era of technology and globalisation a leader can effectively utilise online platform to interact with followers and make them motivated . understanding their concerns, build common objectives and goals, maintain the rythm of relationship, monitor the activities and resolve the destructive conflicts etc. It helps in absorbing things much better and become more rational theorugj creative thinking .A leader need to observe and grasp the changing societial or marketing requirements and need to inbuilt the skills based on that . Develop and train the followers accordingly so that they can easily move ahead with the instructions and give them the ownership of task.
