Overview
1. Executive Summary
This document is intended to give the overview of the project received from US army to Superpacks. The project has been awarded to Superpack to provide a customized backpack for U.S. army which can help them in critical conditions. This report contains the overview and the primary and secondary requirements for the project. Superpacks is a defense contractor company having an employee strength of 100 and is constantly delivering quality product from last 10 years to U.S. army.
2. Project Background and Description
U.S army requires a special type of backpack for their ground staffs. This backpack should contain a refrigeration chamber so that they can keep their food and drinks for a longer period in adverse conditions. The requirement is 200 units of backpacks from which 100 units will be provided to ground force and 100 units will be given to special forces.
3. Project Scope
The project requires the design development of the special type backpack by Superpacks. The research and development team should provide a robust design of the backpack having a refrigerated chamber and can withstand the higher temperature conditions without fail. The project needs to be completed in a two year time period.100 units have to be delivered on or before 9th September 2019 and 50 units every 3 months after the first delivery.
