We have got a bluetooth enabled phone and a bluetooth enabled computer. We are trying to send a file from the phone to the computer using bluetooth but are unable to do so as it does not display the computer as a device to which it can send a file. We should understand that there has to be some settings to be involved before we can start transferring via bluetooth such as:

a) Pairing the Bluetooth of the mobile and the bluetooth enable computer. Pairing indicates trust and thus files can be transferred easily.

b) Even after pairing if the file cannot be received, then The bluetooth of the computer is not configured to receive any files. You have to set the computer to accept the files sent to it. Go to the bluetooth settings and then select the 'Receive file' or similar options which will allow the bluetooth of the computer to accept bluetooth files from the sender.

Thus this is the problem which can happen when you are attempting to send files from your phone to your computer.
